SUMMER SESSION 1: TBA SESSION 2: TBA SESSION 3: TBA SESSIONS 4-8: TBA Activities: Daily activities include arts & craft as well as sports activities. Weekly outings to parks and weekly field trips to area attractions (museums, movies, etc.) are included. Sign In / Out Procedures: Please inform staff if your child will not be able to attend or will be late. Parents must physically sign in and out their children. If the parents need someone other than themselves to bring or pick up their child, camp staff must have signed consent by the parent stating who can drop off or pick up their child. A valid ID/DL will be confirmed. This policy will be strictly enforced. Children can be picked up at anytime during the day; pay close attention to when summer day campers are on their field trip(s). Refunds and Late Pick-up Penalty: A refund will NOT be issued for camp, however credit may be applied with written request. A late penalty of $5.00 for every 5 minutes will be enforced (per child) for children not picked up by Day Camp closing time. Parents refusing to pay the late fee will be dropped from the program and no refund will be given. Future enrollment in Standard Of Athletics (SOA) camp programs could be affected. Meals: Standard of Athletics (SOA) will supply two light snacks and drinks during the day for Campers. Parents must send sack lunches with their children. Please do not send hot meals or food that requires special preparation. On field trip days that do not include lunch, all campers must bring a lunch. Please send camper’s lunch in a thermal lunch container along with a water bottle. What to Wear: Some day camp activities may include glue, paint, and other messy materials. Please dress your child appropriately. If your child sunburns easily, please consider this and send a hat and sunscreen. All garments should be clearly marked with your child’s name. Please wear shoes that allow your child to participate in physical play (i.e. athletic tennis shoes) and do not wear Heelys shoes. When the camp has swimming pool day, please bring swim suit, towel, sun screen, and a plastic bag to place wet items in after they change. Field Trips: Standard Of Athletics (SOA) reserves the right to cancel or reschedule field trips in the event of inclement weather or conditions beyond our control. Various field trips provide the option of purchasing light snacks/souvenirs. SOA asks parents who choose to provide their camper with spending cash to place no more than $10.00 into a plastic Ziploc sandwich baggie with the camper’s name labeled on the outside of the bag. Parent MUST give the bag to the camp counselor during camper check-in, and the counselors will make sure the bag(s) arrive at the field trip destination. (In their excitement, campers may sometimes forget their baggies back at the camp location.) What to Bring: Campers will need a bag for their own personal belongings (swim days: swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, and plastic bag), all of which should be clearly labeled with your child’s name. Please wear shoes that allow you to participate in physical play (i.e., athletic tennis shoes). Everyday your camper should bring a water bottle for easy fluid access. What Not to Bring: Please do not wear Heelys shoes. Do not bring toys, electronic games, cell phones, or other valuable items that could be lost, stolen, used by others or damaged. Standard Of Athletics (SOA) will not be responsible for the security, the use or damages to these items. Animals/pets are not allowed. |
